Metlist is a small, non commercial fan project for keeping track of the Metallica songs you've seen live. This page explains what it keeps about you and why.

What we keep

• Your account. Your email address, and your name if you sign in with Google. If you use a password, it is stored scrambled and nobody can read it.
• Your username, which you pick yourself.
• The shows you add: the date, venue, city and the songs played, so we can fill in your albums.
• Your MetHeads stats (songs seen, shows, awards), only shown on the leaderboard if you choose to be on it.

Signing in with Google

If you continue with Google, Google tells us your name and email address so we can create or find your account. We don't get your password, contacts, or anything else from your Google account.

Who else handles it

• Supabase stores your account and shows.
• Vercel hosts the site and counts visits with Vercel Web Analytics, which doesn't use cookies or track you across other sites.
• setlist.fm provides the setlists. We look shows up there but never send them anything about you.

What we don't do

We don't sell your information, show ads, or share it with anyone beyond the services above.

Your choices

You can remove any show at any time, and hide yourself from MetHeads on your account page. To delete your account and everything in it, email sam@mythiosdesign.com and it will be gone within a few days.

Changes

If this page changes in a way that matters, the date at the top will change too.
